Punta Uva, located 5 kilometers south of Puerto Viejo on
the Caribbean side of Costa Rica, and in the Gandoca Manzanilla
Wildlife Refuge. It is known by many Costa Ricans as one
of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica, and one of
the safest swimming beaches, and make for a very enjoyable
and safe vacation. The new cabinas have hot water showers,
and tastefully decorated rooms that open out onto a comfortable
deck over looking a sunny tropical garden with beachfront
seclusion. For recreation try the dolphin tour, and a little
snorkeling n one of the many nearby reefs, the longest sea
kayak run in Costa Rica, or the afternoon volleyball game.
