Nestled in 180 acres of virgin rainforest in the lowlands
of the central pacific, the 24 room Rancho Casa Grande is
just a few steps from the untouched jungle. It is the best
bird watching spot in the area. The hotel has its own private
paths where it is possible to observe 28 species of trees,
70 species of birds, 38 species of butterflies, 13 species
of mamals and 7 species of reptiles. Guided tours are available
to the National Park of Manuel Antonio and to the virgin
mountain that surrounds the hotel. A nearby stable can provide
horseback riding in the area. Casa Grande's accommodations
