Posada Mimosa, 20 minutes west of the international airport,
is situated on 17 acres of jungle, river, sugar cane and
coffee fields with a spectacular view over the central valley.
We are conveniently located near the lovely town of Grecia.
It is only five minutes from the Inter-American Highway,
40 minutes from San José and 90 minutes from the closest
Pacific beaches. Sarchí, Zarcero, Irazú and Poás volcanoes,
national parks and many other interesting places are within
easy cycling or driving distance. Posada Mimosa is 750 meters
above sea level. The climate is ideal. The nights are cool
enough to need a blanket. We do NOT need air conditioning
or heating year round. Many of our guests have suggested
that our location is ideal for three or six days' relaxation
or day trips before embarking on more strenuous pursuits.
