The hotel "Las Brisas del Pacifico" lies directly on the
five mile stretch of beach at Playa Samara. It is four hours
by car from the Juan Santamaria International Airport, or
thirty minutes by air. The hotel with its 35 rooms is basically
divided into tow parts: The bungalows at the beach level,
or the ocean view rooms that are set back higher up on the
hill. There are two swimming pools, one near the restaurant/bar
and reception area close to the beach, and the other at
the upper part of the complex with panoramic view to the
sea.Recreational activities in the area include tours to
the national parks and biological reserves such as the Ostional
Wildlife Refuge, one of the most important sites in the
world, where thousands of turtles lay their eggs. Other
activities in the area are horseback riding, dolphin tours,
