Lagarta Lodge, with eight large rooms and set on a hill,
offers you the most spectacular view of the coastline, the
mountains, two rivers, and the Reserva Biologica Nosara.
Each room has an exceptional view of the beach, river and
our nature reserve. The white sand beach is only about a
ten minute walk away. Wildlife can be watched from the lodge.
The Lagarta Lodge is the entrance to the private reserve,
where you can walk on trails through the mangrove and humid
forest. Our guide (ornithologist) offers you a tour into
the Nosara River. The soundless electric powered boat brings
you very close to nature. Tours to Ostional (turtle nesting
site), horseback riding, canoeing and bike rentals are available.
