We invite you to La Colina Lodge in Monteverde, founded
by one of the original Quaker’s in Monteverde. The lodge
is located 3 km from the Monteverde Reserve and 6 km from
the town of Santa Elena. The lodge has a rustic log cabin
front with a modern cozy interior. The lodge is dedicated
to the vision of Eco-tourism in a delicate blend with nature.
We provide excellent service in peaceful surroundings sensitive
to the local environment. The main lodge houses the restaurant
and communal area. The many windows allow natural light
in with views of the outside gardens while enjoying the
cozy interior with a fireplace and sitting area. The restaurant
serving breakfast, lunch and dinner has an excellent menu
with a variety of vegetarian dishes, fresh baked goods and
international cuisine. Also situated in the main lodge are
four double rooms, three with private bath. Three of the
double rooms open out onto a large balcony with a sitting
area. This building has a comfortable communal sitting area
with a television, sofa and chairs. The carriage house was
the owner’s original house. Other services include travel
and tour arrangements, camping sites, laundry service, and
