Cafetal Inn of 10 rooms, is just 20 minutes from the airport.
The spectacular two-story house with rounded glass corner
alcoves overlooks the Colorado River Valley and fields of
coffee and sugarcane, with views of Alajuela, part of Heredia,
and Poas, Barva and Irazu Volcanoes. Lee and Romy Rodrigues
greet you at the door and treat you as an honored guest
throughout your stay. It is a classy place, shining marble
floors, a soothing waterfall in the two story atrium that
is a lovely lounge area, light and airy rooms, deep cushions
on wicker furniture, lots of floor to ceiling windows. Nothing
ordinary about the meals here - Romy dons the chef's hat
and cooks with a flair. Down a garden path through coffee
plantation is a large pool and a rancho with hammocks. We
produce our own coffee "La Negrita" brand. We also offer
