Buena Vista is a Spanish Colonial style resort with two
stories. The hotel was completed in 1995. There are
11 rooms, 3 junior suites, and 1 junior suite with private
sundeck on the 2nd floor, and 10 rooms downstairs.
The rooms have two queen size beds, color TV, private bath,
individual hot water heater, and are carpeted. The hotel
is the only one in the area to enjoy a 360 degree panoramic
view of the Poas, Barva and Irazu volcanoes as well as
the central valley and the city of San Jose. The hotel
is at an altitude of 4185 feet and it enjoys an ideal
climate. The daily range of temperature is 80 - 62
degrees. There is a fine dining restaurant that serves
international cuisine at reasonable prices, bar,
swimming pool, laundry, and gift shop. The hotel was
