The family
owned and operated Hotel Belmar is located in the mountains
adjoining the world famous Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.
It consists of two chalet style buildings with wood paneling
and a view from every window. Rooms are comfortable and
cozy. Homemade meals are served family style. Neither air-conditioning
nor heat is needed due to the altitude 1500 (4500 ft). A
small game room is on the premises and many attractions
are close by such as sky walking, visits to the reserve,
butterfly garden, horseback riding, bird watching and many
others. Slide shows are given nightly in the game room.
